"Taking the old, broken, unwanted and often forgotten everyday
objects, my ambition through painting is
to capture character and beauty, transforming the usual into
something unique and wonderful.
After many years working in drawing and watercolour, my current
practice in oils has evolved into a clear, detailed, and recognisably
personal style. Light, colour, texture, and tone are central to my
process, guiding the way each piece takes shape.
Through my work, I strive to let simple things stand out, to find
beauty in the not-so-pretty, and to allow everyday objects to shine”.
